To meet and exceed the needs of African American LGBT youth and those who provide resources to them.

Company Overview
YPS is a collection of some of the top youth leaders in the country, as well as, allies, supporters and friends who train, advocate for, develop and provide resources to African American LGBT youth in the United States.YPS youth travel across the country participating in some of the country’s best summits, conferences and events. They consistently win national and international awards and honors

 and sit on national and regional boards, committees and teams.If you are under the age of 26 and ready to do some work on the national level, email us of a application. Our national programs include”-PULSE (For HIV positive youth)
-Code Red (viral/social marketing program for models, dancers, singers and athletes)
-Young Leaders Society (For activist, spoken word artists, photographers and entrepreneurs, young leaders)
-BOMANI (for youth in the Military)
-Youth With Disabilities
-Ambassadors (national youth leadership development)

NYPS is designed for youth who are ready to be leaders and have experience on the local level with organizations, campaigns around social justice. Members lead the way on projects and are only supported by YPS staff and volunteers. Those who are not at the desired level of leadership should join our program for emerging leaders, the Young Leaders Society which is more hands on.

NYPS is a volunteer run organization, under the fiscal direction of the Public Health Institute of Metro Chicago. All donations are tax deductible under the 501 (c) 3 tax code.
